Chocolate covered strawberries are one of my favorite comfort foods. This food is very versatile, as you can just dip strawberries in the chocoalte and eat in right away, or you can add decorations, so the food can become a fancy dessert. Here are the steps on how to make these scrumptious sweets!

  1. Gather your ingredients and wash your strawberries.
  2. Melt your chocolate, either in the microwave or use a double boiler. If using a micrwave, put the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing in between.
  3. Get your strawberries and insert your toothpicks in the middle of the leaves of the strawberries.
  4. Grab the strawberry by the toothpick and dip them 3/4 of the way with the chocolate.
  5. Lay out each strawberry on the parchment paper, with space in between each.
  6. This is the time when you can add your additional toppings, which is optional.
  7. Sometimes, if I am impatient, I will eat the strawberries wiith still wet chocolate. Or, you can wait until the chocolate is completely dry, and devour!
